In March 2008 Craig completed 13 years as Pastor of Harper Church in the south side of Glasgow. He had been called there from Bellshill Baptist Church, his first pastorate which he took up after graduating from Irish Baptist College in Belfast in 1989. During his time at Harper Craig served as a trustee with India Rural Evangelical Fellowship (IREF), Care for Scotland's Scottish Advisory Committee, and a chaplain at the University of Glasgow. During the Harper years his involvement in Christianity Explored Ministries (CEM) deepened, running the first CE course in 2001 and becoming an Advocate in 2006 leading in 2008 to his present role as Training Director. In addition to this, in 2013 Craig re-joined the eldership at Harper in the capacity of Associate Pastor alongside Senior Pastor, Alan McKnight.
Craig's task in essence is to provide evangelism training for gospel hearted churches around the world by developing a network of qualified trainers. The flagship Christianity Explored course is now in its 3rd edition and is being used in more than 85 countries. CEM is committed to getting the gospel to the nations via the local church. Craig summarises his life's work as "Equipping hundreds to train thousands to rescue millions".
He and his wife Margaret have three daughters, Claire, Jennifer and Gillian.
